Base Flatness & Waxing

Base flatness is important for 2 reasons:

• It makes the ski/board track better.
• It places the edges at the correct proximity to the snow.

EdgeTune Pro's guide bracket uses the base surface as the reference for all bevel angle grinds, so a flat base surface will provide the most accurate bevel angles. Stone grinding the base is best.
